2008

Julia Oldham translates invertebrate rituals into choreography for video. The strangeness of insect movements being performed by a human body is meant to illustrate her awkward and tenuous relationship with nature. She received an MFA from the University of Chicago in 2005 and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. More information about her work can be found here.
