Christy Gast is a multimedia artist whose work explores the intersection of cultural history and identity politics with landscape. Her projects range from curatorial projects in the Utah desert to performative videos about mermaids. She received her MFA from Columbia University in 2004 and currently teaches digital media at the University of West Florida. More information about her work can be found here.
